Howe Essentials was born from a mother’s determination to protect her family.

As a wife and mother of five, I have always cared deeply about nurturing my family and helping others improve their well-being. That desire to serve was also reflected in my work with a nonprofit organization, where contributing to the lives of others was an important part of my own.
Howe Essentials began when my daughter experienced severe eczema flare-ups as a child. Although prescribed treatments helped reduce inflammation, her skin remained rough, irritated, and darkened from constant scratching. I wanted a gentler, more targeted way to calm the irritation, restore moisture, and support healthier-looking skin. Determined to help her, I began researching essential oils and carefully experimenting with botanical blends. That journey led to NU SKIN Oil—our first product and a solution born from a mother’s love, persistence, and refusal to stop searching.

My own health journey later deepened the purpose behind Howe Essentials. After being injured while working for the nonprofit, I underwent several surgeries, used a wheelchair for many years, and was unable to work regularly because of my condition. Recovery was neither quick nor easy. I worked diligently over time to regain mobility and gradually return to a limited level of normal activity. As I continued dealing with lower back and neck pain, soreness, and physical limitations, I again turned to essential oils. Through research, testing, and careful refinement, I developed a purposeful blend to provide soothing comfort for arthritis, joint, and muscle pain. That formulation became AJM. These experiences inspired me to deepen my knowledge and become a certified aromatherapist. I studied the properties, appropriate applications, and safe use of essential oils, along with how to combine them into intentional blends for everyday wellness needs. I also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Lehman College, which provided a strong foundation for building Howe Essentials with care, discipline, and long-term vision. My education gives me important knowledge, but my greatest understanding comes from lived experience—as a mother searching for better care for her child, a woman rebuilding her life after a serious injury, and someone who has always felt called to serve others. I understand how pain, limited mobility, skin irritation, and unexpected health challenges can interrupt everyday life. I also understand the determination it takes to keep moving forward. Through Howe Essentials, I want to support people as they care for their bodies, pursue recovery, and work toward returning to the activities and moments that matter most. Every Howe Essentials product is created with a clear purpose. I place great importance on research, carefully selected ingredients, thoughtful blending, and formulations developed around real-life needs. That is my promise: premium botanical care rooted in love, strengthened by education, and shaped by experience.
